Life Church Weddings
Our Theology of Marriage
Life Church joyfully celebrates marriage as a sacred covenant designed by God. We believe marriage is a lifelong, Christ-centered union between one man and one woman, established by God in creation (Genesis 2:18–25) and affirmed throughout Scripture. As a church, we desire every wedding celebrated on our campus to honor Jesus Christ, reflect biblical truth, and speak life into a sacred union that is intended to bring honor to God and blessings to the marrying couple.
Life Church reserves the right to determine which weddings may be performed on our campus or officiated by our pastors, based on our understanding of biblical authority and the Foursquare Statement of Faith.

Biblical Definition of Marriage
The couple must meet the biblical definition of marriage as established in Genesis 2, being between one man and one woman.
Life Church will not perform or allow wedding ceremonies that fall outside of these biblical parameters. This includes, but is not limited to, situations in which couples are living in open sin as defined by Scripture (see 1 Corinthians 6:9–11).
Life Church reserves the right to exercise pastoral discretion in all wedding decisions.
Grace, Repentance, and the Hope of the Gospel
Life Church affirms the transforming grace of Jesus Christ. Scripture teaches that no one is beyond forgiveness, and that through Christ there is full pardon, restoration, and new life for all who repent and place their faith in Him.
The Bible declares:
“And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”
— 1 Corinthians 6:11
We believe that forgiveness is freely offered through Jesus Christ to all who confess their sins and turn to Him in repentance:
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
— 1 John 1:9
For this reason, Life Church does not seek to shame or exclude individuals who have previously lived in ways outside of God’s design. Rather, we joyfully proclaim that repentance leads to freedom, and that following Jesus involves a willingness to turn from sin and walk in obedience to Him:
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17
Couples desiring to be married at Life Church or by a Life Church pastor must demonstrate a sincere commitment to live in alignment with biblical teaching, relying on the grace of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit to walk in newness of life.
Wedding Receptions
A simple reception may be held in the Courtyard for an additional fee of $200.
Because Life Church facilities are set apart for the worship of the Lord:
No alcohol or smoking is permitted on campus
All music playlists, activities, and event plans must be submitted for review and approval in advance
Final Notes
